Truly a fantastic little town. There are very few towns of such a small population where so much happens on so many different levels. Bagley and I are currently cutting up the catwalk in the local Wearable Creations show (yes, our clothes are made from 100% Molenberg Bread Bags – thank you Mandy). Last week our senior drama classes were performing their interpretations of Shakespeare’s “Midsummer Night’s Dream” and Jean Betts’ re-take of Hamlet, “Ophelia Thinks Harder”. Next weekend our school teams are competing in the local Mountain to Mountain multisport race. The school examinations are this week also. I’m back into training for the Challenge Wanaka ultra-distance triathlon next January… the list goes on and on. It’s pretty clear why it is that I never leave this town, there’s simply too much going on here – always too much to miss!
