What a month!
Well, in one month I've sold the house, left my job and basically turned my whole life inside out. Emma (the cat) now lives with Roy in Mount Somers (she has retired to the country) and Hayden and Carina are on holiday in Germany.. so I've decided to go itinerant myself: I'm going on a major road trip of New Zealand (QAF-style). Departure date: 13 October
The plan is to use the time to clear my head and settle on a more concrete plan for what comes next in my life. Then there's New York, London, Amsterdam.. hmm.
The month has thus been one of finishing off. Annie and Allie and I went on one beautiful Monday to Mt Hutt for a day skiing and boarding which I felt was a wonderful way of celebrating my new post-work freedom.
And there have also been the inevitable, and thoroughly enjoyable 'going away' events.. one of note would be Topkapi with Teri, Jules, Snowy, Shay and Lisa...
