Why do I have a website?

It’s a question I’m asked more often than I’d like to admit.

I think I feel I have to explain myself and sometimes I get a bit tired of doing so - so I’ve put it all down on these pages instead and then when people want an explanation - I just have to send them here.

It helps me explain myself to myself too, when I write things down

What do I do?

I’m a High School teacher in the small and utterly special town of Wanaka in the Southern Alps of New Zealand.

I’m keen on swimming/biking/running and am currently training for a half ironman event on January 1st, 2009
